Are you thriving or surviving? I’ve been recently asking myself this question and realize that for a while now, I’ve been surviving. Surviving isn’t any real way to live life. You can’t live your best life surviving. How do you know if you’re surviving? Here are a few signs I’ve noticed personally:
1. You feel like you’re on a constant treadmill, going nowhere fast;
2. You always feel over worked and overwhelmed;
3. You feel like you’re being pulled in a million different directions;
4. You aren’t particularly enjoying what it is that you’re doing.
Personally, I believe we’re all meant to thrive in life; each and every one of us. I don’t believe any of us are meant to be miserable. Thriving in life, however, requires you to figure out what it is you want in life, figure out how to make it happen and putting in the hard work to get there. Not easy, but definitely worth it. We are all capable of living the lives of our dreams, if we’re willing to put in the work to make it happen. So ask yourself, are you thriving or are you simply surviving? And if you are surviving, what do you need to change so you’re thriving?
